Today I stopped in at Sunset nursery after I bought an olive tree from an online store which was su to be 6-7 feet but was only 4. Paid 399. For the tree and shipping to get it back was going to cost even more. Decided to eat the cost and learned my lesson from buying site unseen and the challenges of returns from online stores. Needless to say I heard the told you so from my lovely bride! I took her to Sunset nursery after and we couldn’t be happier with our purchase. We found a 9 foot tall (24” box) for 300! It is a beautiful tree and perfect for the location we need to black a home that is behind ours. Friendly, patient and professional service has won my business and I will be returning for additional tree purchases in the future. I have added the comparison for anyone looking to purchase a similar tree. In the end after shipping from the online store I paid 150. Less for the tree I purchased from the local nursery. Thanks you Sunset nursery for your assistance in getting out of the doghouse! Go see what they have if you are in need of a new tree. They have a great selection!

Best nursery I have been to! Everyone who has ever helped us has given us great customer service and is very helpful. We always find exactly what we need and want and then some! The prices are competitive and the plants and trees are healthy and beautiful. We have purchased 3 Redwoods, an Elephant Heart Plum tree, 2 wine barrels (cut in half), mini succulents and a couple of beautiful pots. I highly recommend Sunset Nursery! They will have what you need.

Stopped in to look at some evergreen trees. Bought 5 redwoods for a good price. Trees look healthy. Guy that helped us was nice. Will be back for more.

Great $5 aloe plants, my wife bought a bunch of blueberry plants, a fig, peach, nectarine, and plum. They all have fruit in them already and look healthy. Been to a few nursery where they weren’t knowledgeable and sold back up pieces of plants they grafted but destroyed. The guy there I think the owner is bilingual, and proceeded to tell us what types of dirt will be needed and when’s best to plant (after fruit season). If we need any other items like grapefruit we will be back June or July.
